Manager of Technical Affairs and Supervision of Development Projects

 

Description of duties

  • Planning to provide physical spaces for the research institute, in order to develop and expand the required research spaces and take action to secure the required development funding.
  • Holding tenders and concluding contracts with consulting and contractor companies for development projects in cooperation with other relevant units of the research institute.
  • Preparing and compiling a comprehensive plan for the research institute and providing land and facilities, taking into account the development of higher education.
  • Monitoring the proper implementation of the research institute's development plans
  • Reviewing development plans and proposals from research institute units for development and construction, considering priorities, facilities, and approved credits, based on approved directives and instructions, and following up on the budget for development projects until the final stage.
  • Collecting the necessary information to set the budget for the research institute's development projects.
  • Proposing the institute's development budgets for approval in the country's annual budget
  • Preparation of the construction plans of the research institute.
  • Preparing regular reports and assessments of the physical progress of development plans and projects and other related matters based on scheduled schedules.
  • Reviewing financial statements and items of development projects.
  • Implementing trust and required projects of the research institute.
  • Planning and supplying the necessary supplies and materials for construction projects.
  • Supervising the implementation of construction and facility plans and cooperating with relevant units to carry out major repairs and maintenance of buildings of various units of the research institute.
  • Preparing the necessary plan for the repair and maintenance of various buildings and facilities and reviewing and approving repair proposals and technical changes in buildings and facilities in cooperation with relevant units.
  • Estimate and propose the purchase of equipment, construction materials and facilities required by the research institute.
  • Performing other tasks assigned by superiors.
