Monitoring, Evaluation and Quality Assurance Group
- Implementing the approvals and guidelines of the ATAF Quality Supervision, Evaluation and Assurance Council.
- Collecting the required information and statistics within the framework of the approvals of the Supervisory Council, evaluating and ensuring the quality of the ATAF, analyzing the data, classifying the related information, and submitting a report to the aforementioned Council.
- Cooperation with monitoring and evaluation teams dispatched by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.
- Monitoring and evaluating the activities of the research institute within the framework of the country's growth and development programs based on the goals of the vision document and the country's comprehensive scientific map, in coordination with the relevant ministry.
- Preparing a report on the educational, research, technological, operational, etc. quality of the research institute based on the templates set by the ATAF Quality Supervision, Evaluation and Assurance Council and submitting it to the director of the research institute for reflection to the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology at the end of each academic semester.
- Assessing the quality and quantity of educational, research, technological, and implementation activities and the efficiency of programs and regulations based on determined factors and indicators.
- Evaluating the teaching methods of the research institute's faculty members and trying to select the most appropriate teaching method for each subject by having students complete questionnaire forms and soliciting opinions from graduates about the strengths and weaknesses of the teaching and research methods at the research institute.
- Investigating the educational, research, and welfare status of the research institute's faculty members and finding indicators and factors affecting the quality of education and research.
- Continuously reviewing and evaluating the performance of the research groups, research institutes, and affiliated units of the research institute and submitting reports to the relevant vice-chairs of the research institute.
- Evaluating the progress of research and technology activities within the framework of approved policies.
- Collecting and presenting the necessary opinions and suggestions to improve and reform the quality of education, research, technology, implementation, etc. at the research institute.
- Establishing coordination and communication between the ATAF Monitoring, Evaluation, and Quality Assurance Council and the Institute's Monitoring, Evaluation, and Quality Assurance Group.
- Review and approve plans related to the monitoring and evaluation of the research institute.
- Investigating problems and obstacles to the qualitative growth of education and research at the research institute and presenting appropriate plans to improve and increase the qualitative level of education and research at the research institute.
- Connecting with reputable research institutes around the world and gaining information about new efforts and achievements in the field of monitoring and evaluating research institute performance and its optimal use.
- Regular monitoring and evaluation of the activities of the research institute managers in coordination and cooperation with the relevant departments.
- Conducting necessary studies regarding changes or development of educational and research programs and submitting proposals to the relevant vice-chairs of the research institute.
- Preparing the necessary regulations and instructions in the relevant field.
- Supervising the proper implementation of all laws and regulations of the research institute and reporting violations to the director of the research institute or relevant vice-presidents.
- Performing other tasks assigned by superiors.
